What to Expect in Our Classes
Our Gold Acro classes are structured to ensure students develop the strength, flexibility, and control necessary for advanced acro skills. We emphasise safe practices and precision in all movements, helping students perform with confidence and excellence.

Performance Opportunities
Gold Acro students are cast in highly choreographed, epic acro dances for productions, competitions, and public performances. These opportunities allow students to showcase their advanced skills and artistry on various stages.

Exams and Assessments
Gold Acro students are expected to sit annual exams to evaluate their progress and mastery of skills. These exams provide valuable feedback and recognition of their achievements. Students who achieve the highest grade of 'distinction' are also awarded with a medal to recognise this excellent achievement.

Uniform Requirements
Gold Acro students are required to wear:
- Dark teal leotard
- Black or pink fitted shorts
- Bare feet for optimal grip and control

Structure of the Dance Year
Our dance year is structured to provide a comprehensive experience, with key events and milestones to look forward to:
- Annual Production: Held in Term 2 (June), featuring advanced acro performances.
- Competitions and Public Performances: Opportunities throughout the year to perform and compete.
- Examinations: Held in Term 4 (December), for formal Acrobatic Arts exams

Time Investment and Parental Support
To succeed at this advanced level, students should dedicate an additional 2 hours per week to training strength, drills, and stretching at home. We recommend parental support in ensuring consistent practice outside of the studio. We provide video resources to help students review and perfect their techniques.
